How you surface content to your users is just as important as the content itself.

Serving nearly 100,000 students in the greater San Antonio area, the launch of the Alamo Colleges' career pathfinder tool presents prospective students with a robust three-step wizard to reach their goals. Now, researching programs and career fields, planning a curriculum, and applying for admission, financial aid, and scholarships can be done in one location – and in just a matter of clicks.

Once a prospective student has identified their career of choice, the tool identifies a range of programs and the exact courses needed to graduate or transfer, saving both time and money. The tool also identifies which of Alamo's five campuses courses can be taken at.

Integrated with Economic Modelling Specialists International, Inc. (EMSI) Career Coach software, students are also presented with pertinent career information – including openings, trends, and wages – in real time and at the local level. Using clearly labeled calls to action, students can then proceed to apply for admission, student aid, and/or scholarships.

It's all content Alamo already had at its disposal. Now, it's simply presented in a more compelling way.

A purpose, and a plan on how to get there. Take a look for yourself.
