As the holiday season approached, C2 sought out the opportunity to give more back to its service partnership, Boys and Girls Clubs Grand Rapids Youth Commonwealth (BGCGR), by participating in its Adopt-a-Family program, staffing its annual Thanksgiving Dinner, and providing pro bono digital work to the group to prepare for the New Year.

The first of its kind for C2, the team adopted three BGCGR families to make Christmas a little brighter and lighter for this year. Closing the office early one Friday afternoon, C2 shopped and wrapped toys, clothing, and other basic necessity items that were on family wish lists to be picked up and delivered by BGCGR the following week.

Last month, C2 spent some time with BGCGR helping and hanging out with Clubs members at its annual Thanksgiving Dinner. The team divided the evening with preparing and serving dinner and teaming up with Clubs members for scavenger hunts, pickle ball matches, ping pong battles, among other team-driven games.

In addition to holiday festivities, creating concise, clear email designs that reflect the Boys & Girls Clubs brand and serve the local Clubs’ needs was a digital need for the local group. C2 lent a hand and its expertise towards several major email templates used in regular outreach to BGCGR members, donors, and volunteers for BGCGR to test out and prepare for the New Year.
