Earlier this month, C2 relocated from its home of more than 18 years to a new downtown office in Grand Rapids, Mich.
Moving, as many know, can be bittersweet (not to mention a lot of work). We made a lot of memories in our Grandville office, which if you've ever stepped foot inside, had its own unique ... charm.
But nostalgia isn't a good enough reason on its own to keep people -- or a business, in our case -- in one place.
Moving, for C2, served several purposes. Internally, it supports our continued growth. For our clients, it promotes increased collaboration and more effective communication between C2 teams. Metaphorically, it reflects the craftsmanship and energy we put into our work each and every day.
The new 7,000-plus-square-foot space is located in a first-floor suite inside the historic Grand Rapids Furniture Campus. An open floorplan featuring exposed brick, plumbing, original wood features, and modern touches contribute to an industrial design that pays homage to the city's heritage as a global leader in furniture manufacturing.
More recently, however, this area of downtown has been associated with a budding creative and interactive scene. And we're thrilled to be a part of it.
