The Challenge

Our Daily Bread Ministries (ODBM) faced significant digital challenges due to a fragmented web infrastructure. Operating numerous websites across differing content management systems (CMSs), ODBM encountered inconsistent user experiences, inefficient content management workflows, and difficulties in maintaining a cohesive brand identity. This fragmentation impeded their ability to effectively engage their audience and adapt to evolving digital expectations.

The organization's legacy systems lacked the flexibility to support multilingual content, scalable layouts, and modern digital experiences such as video and podcast integrations. Because of this, ODBM could not effectively show the diversity of their offerings beyond their daily devotionals. The Outcome

ODBM partnered with The C2 Group to modernize and unify its digital presence, enhancing user experience and operational efficiency.

C2 led the replatforming of ODBM’s primary website to the Optimizely Digital Experience Platform (DXP),consolidating multiple disparate sites into a cohesive, scalable, and multilingual platform. This transformation enabled ODBM to streamline content management workflows, allowing editors across various regions to efficiently create and manage content tailored to their audiences.

The new platform's flexibility supported the integration of diverse content types, including videos and podcasts, catering to the evolving preferences of ODBM's global audience. Additionally, enhanced user personalization and improved tracking and analytics capabilities empowered ODBM to deliver more targeted and engaging content than was possible before.

Post-implementation, ODBM observed significant improvements in site performance, user engagement, and search engine optimization (SEO), particularly for their U.S. site. The collaboration with C2 not only addressed existing operational inefficiencies but also positioned ODBM for future growth, facilitating the seamless integration of any future sites and brands.
