What’s next?

It’s a daunting question for many people, especially high school students trying to decide what career path to choose.

The C2 Group is hoping to help several local students answer that very question by partnering with the Kent Intermediate School District for Groundhog Shadow Day 2016 on Feb. 2. This is C2’s second year participating in this great event, which gives students the opportunity to gain insight and experience in a field of their interest through shadowing working professionals.

Our guest students will spend the day working through all the steps in C2's acclaimed process to create a fully functioning app. Along the way, students will be exposed to a variety of career roles in the tech sector, including working alongside project leads, designers, and developers to meet client needs and deadlines. Students will be mentored on the skills and education required for employment, hopefully coming away with the information they need to begin answering the question of “what’s next?”

We are excited to help these students discover a potential career path. A career path that fits an individual’s interests and passions is the key to doing rewarding work. Creating rewarding work is not only a daily pursuit, but the foundation of our culture here at C2.

Groundhog Shadow Day and C2's culture make a perfect match. The chance to positively impact students’ futures and  generate excitement and awareness for careers in web design and development is an opportunity we couldn’t pass up.
